MOSSO's Virtuosos: Live in Springfield Symphony Hall

"MOSSO’S VIRTUOSOS" showcases the members of the MOSSO family. All of the soloists for the program are principal players of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Trumpeter Thomas Bergeron and Timpanist Martin Kluger will share the conducting duties. The evening will be introduced by Patrick Berry, co-host of Mass Appeal on 22 News.

Faure’s Fantaisie for Flute and Orchestra - Ann Bobo, flute soloist
Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto (First Movement) - Thomas Bergeron, trumpet soloist and conductor
Leopold Mozart’s Concerto for Alto Trombone - Brian Diehl, trombone soloist
Ney Rosauro’s Concerto No. 1 for Marimba (Two Movements) - Nathan Lassell, marimba soloist
Mozart’s Haffner Symphony (Movement I. Allegro con spirito)
Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite

Doors open at 6:30pm - Concert begins at 7:30pm

HEALTH PROTOCOLS:

Audience members must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and wear masks inside of Symphony Hall.
Musicians will also be masked, with the exception of woodwinds and brass players who will take rapid antigen tests the day before and the day of the concert.
